I was wondering if there is some way to add a radar view of certain areas to the background. There are plenty of sights that offer radar images. Let me know what you think and good job so far.

weather.com plugin has radar, no i won't add other sites.

create a new plugin or request one in a new thread.

kayman40, i had a second thought about other radar sites.

i really not sure what your talking about, but i will add a custom radar option, where the user will supply direct links to the map(s) or radar(s). this would be good for areas not in US. accuweather has good maps, unfortunately there animated maps are gif's that don't display in an image control, but still it's something.

so maybe a good idea from you if thats what you meant.

Ya that's what I meant. Maybe I didn't explain myself very well. I'm new to this.

Thanks again, and great work

Any way this could be updated to work in Beta II? It is incompatible Sad Looks like FANTASTIC work and I would love to experience it Smile

Are you using Beta II? I go to install it in the SVN Repo and it says incompatible. I installed it anyway but I don't get the Map features, just a blank space where it should be.

sounds like your version string is odd.

could you post what it says in system info.

new feature: custom user maps support not in svn yet.

Ok, I feel like an idiot. I've got the plug-in installed and set as my weather plug-in in my settings, but I don't see anything different. I'm using beta2 with Confluence as my skin. I've tried uninstalling/re-installing, rebooting, all that stuff. When I go to "Weather" from the home screen, it looks exactly the same as before.

Here is my log, I don't see any errors. I can see it loading the plug-in and everything.

Is there a button I'm supposed to be pressing or something?

as far as i know Confluence has no support for the Weather.com Plus Plugin.
you'll need the weather script instead.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.

Oh, oops, sorry.

There's a post a few posts before mine that looks like the plug-in being used in Confluence.

yes that is confluence. i'm skinning for it. as i go i see features missing in the plugin, so it's a slow process.

you could use the twc supp script for now, thats skinned for confluence, which is the base for what i'm doing. the plugin has more features and is better, but skinners do have to support it. like ronie in transperency.

hers a small update showing and rss type feed if you have alerts. i also added an alert notification option.

In the same exact boat as you. Glad I am not alone. Smile I tried everything and see no difference.

EDIT- And thanks for info. Nuka. I am glad I didn't screw something up with my install. I will, indeed, be using TWC. Thanks again for the update. Smile
