I'm running on Intrepid and I have an internal (region locked) drive and an external (region free) drive. Most of my disks are from a different region, so I need to play most of them in the region free drive.

Region free disks will play in the internal drive and autoplay works, but XBMC does not autoplay when I use the external drive (whether the disks are region locked or region free). But with VLC I can play disks in the external drive. Also, the eject option doesn't work for either drive.

When I use the Live CD, I don't have these problems. Help!

Here's the debug log. This is with inserting a region 1 disk after having set the option "Forced DVD Player Region" to 1. (I think I need to do that, because that's the only way I could get it to play using the live CD - in any case, turning that option off makes no difference.)
