I don't know if this is possible at all, but can you add a sleep mode so you could effectively have your Xbox powered up 24/7 and then wake it up from sleep using the remote. It would work the same as if you had a Mac Mini running Frontrow.
What do you guys think?

one thought that hit me is that it might be a wee bit hard to pull off seeing that the xbox doesnt support those suspend features

Is it possible to add (more) power-saving options.
I've found some 'Power Management'-options regarding the HD but have no idea what they do.
Does anyone know how much energy -in Watts- an Xbox in idle state (with XBMC running) uses?

Thanks for the reply Spiff.
And what about the 'Power Management'-options regarding the HD?
Can you tell me what they are and do?
Because I can't find any -more specific- documentation about it.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Strange thing is, I did Google for 'hd smart high power low standby high standby low power' but without a clear explanation.
Are there any SMART-experts on this forum?
And what about the Acoustic Management Level?
Doesn't one overrule the other (Fast=High power / Quiet=Low power)?
But don't get me wrong guys, XBMC is state of the art software and I love it!!!
But maybe a litlle more documentation on this part.
