Has anyone had success using the IR receiver from this set?

I don't care about the remote. I just need an IR receiver that will work under Windows XP and with my Harmony 880. This one only mentions Vista which worries me a bit.

Alternatively, can you recommend another USB IR receiver that would work? I know the original Microsoft Media Center Remote IR receiver works, but those are now hard to find...

Any idea where I can find the original Microsoft Media Center Remote or something else that works?

Someone suggested USB UIRT, but that things seems to cost $50. Ughh...
