Hi, i have a Problem with Xbmc and Vdpau.
I made a new Ubuntu hardy install with Xbmc 9.04.1 and Nvidia 185.18.14 driver but in xbmc i cant choose vdpau under "Render Method"

I can only choose between "auto detect", "software", "ARB" and "GLSL".

do i have to activate it anywhere?

My Gpu is a 8300 onboard.

Hardy is pretty old for vdpau. My recommendation is to build XBMC from svn. That's what I do. It's not hard, just follow README.linux and do NOT use the external syslib options.
