Where are the different 1080 resolutions?
#1
I have bought a new fullhd LCD Tv, a Philips 37PFL8404, and I have connected to my PC via HDMI. When I´m going to set the resolution I only have 1080i, not 1080p or 1920x1080 60hz. Why is happening this? Can I solve it?

The Philips is a secondary monitor as extended desktop, the main one is a Samsung T220HD at 1680x1050. This is the maximum resolution I can select in XBMC. If I select auto resolution and open XBMC in the Philips, it sets to 720p.

XBMC isn't multi monitor aware atm and takes the resolution only from the primary monitor. Either make your LCD the primary monitor or search for workarounds here in the forum.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
