Audio pop when start/stop movie playback
#1
I use windows 7 with XBMC 9.04.1. When I start/stop movie playback I get an audio pop sound. So when I play a movie I always mute the receiver first and then start the movie...

Do you think this is driver related or can I do something?

I have the X-Meridian (connected via SPDIF) soundcard from Auzentech with drivers installed accordingly: http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/8358-...4-bit.html

To me it seems that the problem is when the audio stream shift from Stereo to DD/DTS and vice versa when I start/stop playing a movie.

you could try another program to see if it is a driver issue. Also, since your driver is not actually the same as the one for your soundcard, I say you should try installing the vista driver. if that doesn't want to install, check compatibility mode, mine worked fine like that.
