Where is the "Resume From" window?
#1
Hi,
I feel dumb asking this but where is the code for the dialog Huh

------------------------
resume from %s
starting from beginning
------------------------

I have searched with no luck.
Sure i can change the labels but i want to redesign the dialog
so need to know where the code is hiding.

Probably in plain sight. Smile

VideoOverlay.xml was what i see from the "empty" skin when trying to resume a video. Well what's left of Empty turned to xperience.

I stand corrected

Thanks for the quick responce/s
That has helped me greatly.

One other question though ... that it has brought to mind
The resume window, its ofcourse conditional on having viewed
the first few minutes of a movie. How can i change it to always show
when i click on a movie thumbnail.

I seem to recall when first introduced the resume window would always
show but the resume button would be greyed out if
the movie hadn't been watched before.

with that your thinking of dialogvideoinfo used to have a reume button in it the way it is currently done with the dialogcontextmenu.xml is how it has always been done since that prompting for resume was first added by jmarshall. There are settings in settings\video to affect how it displays "Always" is not an option pretty sure

And that is getting into hard coded functionality Im guessing.

Anyway thanks again.
Im slowly learning what i need.

Im creating a skin compatabile with my touchscreens
and also trying to reduce the number of buttons needed
to control it via remote.

I got it down to using 5 buttons, LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN and SELECT
but i may end up having a sixth button for menus.
Im only about 10% done though.

As for touchscreen use. In videos I can browse, play resume, pause fwd etc
as well as change video options and audio options all from the touchscreen.
