I have a very strict workflow for this,
First I use Musicbrainz picard to tag artists, years, genres, etc. Then I use AlbumArtDownloader to get the artwork nice and ready, after that I go to mp3tag to search for any stupid comment tags, fix genres, unknown dates and add album art. Once all that is done I add it to the corresponding folder on my library.
