How can i use Joystick's DPAD to navigate XBMC under Linux/Ubuntu Jaunty?
#1
Hi,

i have USB IR Remote for the PS3. This thing is a little USB IR device dongle recognized by the system as a gamepad/joystick called 'ELAN IR PS3 Remote Pad'.

Now i want to navigate XBMC with the cursor keys of that remote but they trigger no buttons. Under Windows the cursor keys trigger the DPAD or cooliehat events.

I found out that in the Keymap.xml i have to use the <axis ... thing to get it running but found no solution so far. Huh

Can anyone help to get this running? Problem is that the xmc.log does not list the axis events and i have no idea what to do. All other buttons work with no problem. Only dpad has no funktion.

regards,
puresilence

PS: i am running Linux Mint 7.
