the structure of my LAN is:
Fritzbox 3270 Router IP: 192.168.2.1
Macbook IP: 192.168.2.188
Apple TV IP: 192.168.2.189
all in the same subnet: 255.255.255.0
Workgroup: Arbeitsgruppe (all units in the same)
on my macbook there is a folder named "Filme" ready for file sharing via SMB and with all rights for reading and writing for the User "DBA". The User has a password.
The MAC OS Firewall is turned off
When I´m searching via XBMC on the Apple TV after Windows network (SMB) XBMC say: Error 2 reccource not available
When I add in XBMC manuel the IP Adresse (i´ve tried it allready with the name) and the folder name "Filme" with User DBA and the correct password i got the message: Timeout
How can I get this feature working?
