I like the:

animated backdrops
The tween and rotation animations
I like that shelf view, but probably for something like games.
Nothing special but I liked that font used for time on the home screen

this new shelf view is a killer and brings something new to the game, this index list view is also state of the art.

I think for that specific Ken Burns Effect on the Backdrop/FanArt animation some code would probably have to be added to XBMC skinning engine first, so that idea is posted separately here:

Game screens are awesome in Evolution, does anyone know how to get it working with Aeon without going through about 3 different clicks with the launcher module?

Sorry but without using the launcher plugin you are going to have to wait until the games library is mature enough to be be added to mainline XBMC, for discussion about that see:

As a (nasty) hack, you could just add a couple of slow, looping anims to your multiimage control to do the ken burns thing. It just wouldn't change direction with each image, but at least it'd give you some idea of what it'd look like.
