I can't seemt o get backgrounds to show up on the home screen where you can chose if you want to go to movies etc..

I've chaged the background settings but these only show up when i go to the select item. Not on the home screen. Instead it just shows a black area.

You're probably using an older version of XBMC. Use a nightly version.

I only installed xbmc yesterday and i'm using the latest version.

Aeon stark works but the backgrounds don't show up in Aeon Augria.

What is your revision? You probably are using latest stable which is not new enough.

It's Babylon - 9.04.1 for windows using the aeon Augria skin.

It just seems odd that it works for the stark skin.

You need a newer build try one of the nightly builds. google for xbmc nightly builds they do them for all platforms and they are very good.
the reason is down to the way images are loaded stark and auriga both uses different code to acomplish the same task
XBMC Frodo 12 - Windows 7 - Asrock Ion 330HT - Aeon Nox

The skin you are using uses a new feature of XBMC that is not available in the build you are using. Not sure how many times we need to mention it Smile

OK thanks guys.

The only probelm i've got now is the nightly builds don't have a live cd version as this is what i'm going to install on my Asrock 330.

I know i could use Ubuntu and the linux but i want it to have as little overhead as possible.

Then you'll have to wait until the next release of Live. Or why not just update your Live version as per some of the threads? It isn't hard to update XBMC.

Thanks.
