Hello my name is Patrick.

i am using xbmc for years now. but with the new hd movies
my old xbox doesnt have the power anymore to satisfy me.

so i have bought a aopen mini 965. it has a intel gma x3100 video card
4 gb of ram. and 80gb sata drive. the proc is a core duo 1.8ghz i beleave...

i have installed the linux live cd to hardisk and everything works alright. i also managed to install sabnzbd to it as a download station.

my only problem is when watching hd movies is shocks while playing.
i think it hasn.t got the power to decode hd movies.

so i have bought a broadcom BCM70012 hd decoder card.
i was wondering does xbmc supports this cardHuh

i hope to hear from you.

thank you verry much.

Hmm - maybe you would have been better off with a cheap nvidia 8400gs based videocard which can accelerate HD material (even 1080p) with next to no CPU usage.

the problem is the graphics card is embedded in the main board.
the only thing i have is a mini pci-e slot.

Why didn't you ask questions first then buy your hardware Huh

If your lucky the broadcom or the intel might support DXVA then you could use windows XBMC and launch MPC-HC as an external player

Your need to run DXVA Checker to find out if they support DXVA

Unless your using a nvidia card there's no advantage to using XBMC Live or XBMC Linux for HD content
