I am a long time XBMC user on my Xbox, but I have finally decided to move up to high-def and switch to a windows HTPC. I've set it up to look at the shared folders on my network where my TV shows are, and had it scrape TVDB for images and show data.
XBMC properly found all the data for the series, but for some reason most them do not have any episodes listed in fanart mode. The files are all visible in non-library mode, but as soon as I switch to library, no episodes are displayed. I've tried rescanning several times, but no joy.
All my TV episodes are named in the standard way - "Series Name SSxEE - Episode Name.avi" I just can't understand why some would show up but not others.
Any ideas?
Edit: debug log of a series rescan.
Edit 2: I deleted all the metadata in each series folder and tried manually re-adding and re-scanning each series and it seems to be working. Something must have gone wrong with the auto scan the first time around. Problem appears to be solved.
