Media Files used in Aeon?
#1
I've been away from the forums and everything for quite some time. And forgive me for just looking for some quick answers when i know most of you will say the information is all out there if i look. But...

I just want to know all the different files that are used by Aeon for movies. I currently have all my movies stored in their own folder, with each movie named <moviename.iso>. I don't have any other files in the folder except the ISO at the moment.

Obviously, i need the NFO, fanart and thumb, which are named:
moviename.tbn
moviename.nfo
and for fanart it is moviename-fanart.jpg or just fanart.jpg ?

And for creating the extrathumbs i just create a folder inside each movie folder called "extrathumbs"? and then put images in there called "extrathumb1.jpg", "extrathumb2.jpg" etc?

And, for trailers, what is the naming scheme? Is it just moviename-trailer.ext

So, for Gone In 60 Seconds it would be "Gone in 60 seconds-trailer.mov"?

Are these all the files associated with movies?

Basically, i think what i've wrote is right, but i'm just looking for confirmation.

Thanks in advance to anyone.

If each movie is in it's own folder (as it should be for any collection) use the following:

movie.nfo
movie.tbn
movie-trailer.mov
fanart.jpg

I never really used the extrathumbs but that looks correct.

Everything you had looks fine but in extrathmbs folder it should be thumb1.jpg, thumb2.jpg..etc.

Not with individual folders you don't.
This makes the naming scheme much simpler and the folder contents easier on the eyes. :p
