I'm in the process of looking for a new computer (finally), and I may have narrowed my search down two two similar models--one with a T6500 (2.1ghz) and a bluray drive, and one with a P8700 (2.53Ghz) but no bluray drive and for $100 more.
I'm fairly sure the former's the better deal, but the bluray drive isn't of any real use to me if the T6500 can't decode 1080p video well. In searching around the forum, I saw Hitcher gets good performacne from a 2.33Ghz core 2 duo, but haven't found anyone running at 2.1Ghz.
Could anyone lend a hand?
