I'm not too happy with the way XBMC handles the library so I turned that feature off but still would like to retain the use of the Fan Art backdrops in the "Videos" section.

I tried putting the "fanart.jpg" file in the same directory as my tv show but the backdrop does not seem to want to display.

Any ideas?

I'm running XBMC 9.04.1 for mac with the most recent version of Aeon Hitched.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

You'll need to set Fanart On in the library and then it'll show in File Mode using Showcase.

EDIT: I've just added a separate 'Fanart: On/Off' button for Video Files.

Just discovered "nightly builds"!
