Add Script within skin with Windows 7
#1
In some skins you can point a home item or submenu to a specific script but how do you do that with Windows 7 when it doesn't let you into appdata? Running as admin didn't work either...

Are you currently using portable mode or default mode? I may be misunderstanding what you're saying, but I've never had any trouble visiting or manipulating my appdata file from default mode.

Are those XBMC terms?

I mean XBMC stores scripts in "C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\scripts".

Many skins have these options, take this skin-The Operation as an example. It has the option to point to your weather or trailer script:

And when you try to point to the script, appdata doesn't show up:

Appdata is hidden by default in Windows 7. Enable show hidden files and folders in settings>appearance>view option.
