Soui.... a new Kubuntu installation without KDE desktop and XBMC-Live. But nothing. The CPU usage is always hight. The same as yesterday.

Take it easy But yes, XBMC has some problems with a VM. I think this is the result of unsupported 3d acceleration by the VM himself and XBMC need this.

Never say die. Delete the guisetting.xml and reboot.

I started XBMC Live on my host system and XBMC runs fine with a Quad Core and a GeForce graphic card. The cpu usage goes slow because the working moves from the cpu to the gpu. Only that... XBMC Live changed my bios time


I think the problem inside a vm with kde is, that XBMC render his frames completly new. Instead of caching the last Frame. Maybe it is an option
