XBMC-Live is not VMWare Player compatible. My Screen is in a nice black. So I can see nothing Wink

You're going to get no support as long as you insist on using VMWare, very bizarre.

Take it easy Smile But yes, XBMC has some problems with a VM. I think this is the result of unsupported 3d acceleration by the VM himself and XBMC need this.

I started XBMC Live on my host system and XBMC runs fine with a Quad Core and a GeForce graphic card. The cpu usage goes slow because the working moves from the cpu to the gpu. Only that... XBMC Live changed my bios time Oo


I think the problem inside a vm with kde is, that XBMC render his frames completly new. Instead of caching the last Frame. Maybe it is an option Smile
