I followed the procedure to create a XBMC Live USB and also edited the syslinux.cfg file to boot from usb (boot=usb).
When I boot from USB on a DELL Latitude D800 Notebook I observe the following problem. After the booting up process I see the XBMC logo in the center and then just as if X windows is starting up I hear a loud sound which seems like the MIC and Speaker are ON and the bootup does not proceed. The sound is so irritating that I have to switch OFF the notebook.
I also tired to plugin a phono jack in the MIC socket so that the loopback of MIC and Speaker does not happen. Even after this the bootup does not proceed.
The DELL Latitude has a NVidia video card.
On a Desktop computer the same USB boots up fine which has a integrated Intel Graphic.
What could the problem be with DELL Notebook. I am using XBMC loaded on Windows which is not my preference.
