i must saddly say that xbmc's sound processing is worse than cccp codec pack. ffdshow audio decoder.

i am using analog 5.1 connection from my pc to an amplituner and playing same movie sounds better in subedit player (5.1 set in ffdshow codec)
windows xp sp3.

any suggestions ?
does it sounds better on linux ?

Ugh "sounds worse" is an utterly useless "problem description". I suggest you break out the adjectives and try again.
