Ok so I needed to install a newer version of XBMC then what was in the repositories. So I grabbed an SVN version but now I don't see any option for VDPAU in the video settings? Any help?

How did you build it? Did you enable VDPAU when you compiled it?

Pass - i don't use those builds so can't say how they are built, i would be suprised if they don't enable it though.
Can you confirm the version you are using.

Do you have a link to the official SVN? I tried a couple different ones and am using R22022 as well.

How about starting with a debug log?
Please read the sticky on how to report a problem in a useful manner.
Thanks.

Ok. Dont know about the crashing. I use that version together with many others.
I suggest that you either make a clean install based on one of the howtos or post a debug log for the developers.

No it is not. Please read sticky on how to post in a useful manner. Specifically, debug log.
