Hello,
I am new to using xbmc. I have a SIIG Vista MCE remote, but I have Windows XP Pro. When I try to install the encluded USB IR receiver my computer does not find the driver for the receiver. is there any way of fixing this? are there "generic" IR receivers that will work with XP Pro and the SIIG remote?

Well googling SIIG Vista MCE remote led me to the remotes web page where they list vista as a requirement . So I assume it is vista only.
