Hi Guys, first post.

I have setup the latest XBMC on an Apple TV.

I have tried streaming rtsp from both live555 and Darwin Streaming server using mov, mp4 and mpeg2ts files.

I created a strm file and placed it in the frontrow home directory, it contained a url rtsp://vvx3:8554/bridgestone.ts to a host running live555 that works fine from VLC.

I get the following error in my log file.

Any help much appreciated.

If other people have this working can they suggest what I'm doing wrong or an alternative solution.

Hi guys if noone has experience of the above, any info on using xbmc/appletv to stream rtsp from a VOD server would be much appreciated.

Bit Rate: 13.34 Mbps

I think this video is too much for atv... you should try 3.00 Mbps.

If anyone has experience , any info on using xbmc to stream rtsp or mms from a VOD server would be much appreciated.
Is it possible to install it on a tiny linux client (Amount of memory needed ?)
Is it possiblle to install it on a dedicated server ?

I'm also having this problem.

Have you fixed it?

Does DVDPlayer support rtsp?
Or is there a way to install mplayer?
