odd naming convention (movies)
#1
howdie everyone,

i'm running xbmc and it works fine, however i'm just about to rip some movies from a numbered collection and would like to name them accordingly.

first of all i realise xbmc reads "movie (date)" but... i'd like to have the 007 folder in chronological order (outside xbmc)

eg. (example only, i know these are not in order as i type)

001 diamonds are forever
002 goldfinger
003 dr. No

now i found naming instructions for tv shows but i haven't for movies.

i was hoping i could put the collection number in some kind of bracket that xbmc will ignore and think that the name starts after it

eg. (.............. are "spaces" for forum post)

folder name (video_ts) ...................xbmc

[001] dr. No.......................but xbmc will read "dr. No", or
-001- dr. No......................but xbmc will read "dr. No", or
<001> dr. No......................but xbmc will read "dr. No"

are there any characters that xbmc will completely ignore for movies?

Thanks.
