Please can anyone tell me if XBMC actually uses extra pixels when zooming in on an image?
With XP Mediacentre (NOT XBMC) the program reduces the image size to whatever your screen size is, so zooming in on any image only make it fuxxy and blurry as it's not utilising any extra pixels the original image may have.
My screen is 1440 x 900 px and I have spent ages reducing and cropping all of my images (thousands of them!) to this size from their original 12Mpx size assuming that no more detail would be available!
Would it be better to just leave the original size and allow XBMC to zoom in and use any extra pixels that are there?
Hope this makes sense!
