potential build bug... - 'xtst' library is missing from 'dependencies' section

Hi,

Just wanted to report a potential build bug. The compilation from the SVN root stopped working for me around couple of months ago. Didn't have time to dig into it at that point.

Now, it still wasn't working for me today, when I updated to the build #22349.

Turns out I didn't have 'xtst' library installed, so the 'configure' step was failing. Once I installed the library
Quote:sudo aptitude install libxtst-dev

the build completed successfully.

Currently, README.ubuntu doesn't list this library as a dependency, neither it's installed as a dependency to other libraries (though I only tried the 'easy' way - through 'sudo apt-get build-dep xbmc')

It might be smth with the setup of my box, since no one else seemed to have complained, but probably it won't hurt to mention this library explicitly, at least in the readme file....

Here is my configuration:
Quote:#uname -a
Linux eagle 2.6.24-23-generic #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 21:47:28 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

Ubuntu 8.04.2

xbmc SVN build: 22349
