Hello everyone please can you offer any help... or point me in the direction I need to go?

My XBOX with 8.10 XBMC is crashing when I am trying to view a slideshow of images... the folder is huge so is the XBOX falling over when it tries to cache the entire folder (it's about 22gb in total)
I ahve tried a smaller folder and it still falls over but it is still fairly big...

Is there an update etc...

Any help would be great
