Perfection? Not being able to use the XBMC interface, add-ons, and core features of XBMC, even if you could access all files and playlists, seems far from perfection. Just get a box that runs XBMC and connect it to your TV. DLNA is a poor replacement for an HTPC.
Why on earth do people even bother with XBMC if they are looking for an entirely different product (a SERVER)? If you want XBMC, use XBMC. If you want DLNA, use a DLNA server.

You can make easy links to the Kodi Wiki Manual using double brackets around common Kodi words: [[debug log]] = debug log (wiki), [[Video library]] = Video library (wiki), [[SMB]] = SMB (wiki) , [[userdata]] = userdata (wiki), etc
