I've noticed quite a few people discussing hard drives in here. I have been wondering for ages if it was possible to take files from my external hard drive (connected to Apple TV) and dump said files onto the Apple TV internal hard-drive. I tried ssh in the past and it was unreasonably slow. Is there a fast alternative to that perhaps? I would like to be able to drop a bunch on movie files onto the internal HD for ease of portability for one, but also there is a lot of disk space going to waste there. Is such a thing possible? I'm curious like George.
