I have no plugins, just a fresh GIT grab of Aeon Hitched and I too have this delay.

(ASRock 330), 1.6DualCore ION, GeForce9400, 2GB RAM.

Just to add to the list, I get the same issue with all of my HTPC's with the latest Hitched and temmi2000's release. Not a huge problem but not as smooth as it once was.

I was wondering this, How do I pull the older versions from GIT?

I reported this delay for the first time on Aug 23rd I think and I know it wasn't there at the beginning of August.

I think you will find The plugins are in the skin.

It took a while, but it appears to have started way back in July when you first added 'Black's CD/DVD covers here. The commit immediately prior (d0596) loads movies, tv, music etc in around a second and this one takes around 3 seconds...

ok guys I did some debug comparisons today and found the problem was definitely in MyVideoNav, so after some testing I found it was Showcase that's the problem, remove the entry "<include>Viewtype_Showcase</include>" from "MyVideoNav.xml" and it will be pretty much the same speed as blacks mod Big Grin

I added showcase from the original Auriga and it performed fine but I like blacks case mod soon as I added that to the original the long delay returned Huh

If your not using low list you can remove that as well but the extra speed you get is hardly worth the trouble

The PC I tested it on is slow but it was a couple of seconds quicker according to the log after I removed Showcase, blacks mod was slightly faster by about a second

It maybe blacks dvd case mod in showcase as I said its fine using the original but when you add the dvd case mod it causes the delay but as I don't use showcase I'll leave someone else more skilled to solve that Shocked
