I changed smb client settings, but when i restart the system the settings dont save.

Im using minimal instalation of ubuntu.

Any ideas

I was finding this too - solved by answering 'no' to the 'XBMC needs to restart, do this now?' question that pops up, then escaping back to the main settings menu. Go back in to Network settings and it should have saved. You can then restart XBMC and it should have saved the settings.
