Fedora - External Libass
#1
Hello,

As Fedora just update the libass to version 0.97, compiling XBMC with --enable-external-libraries facing a problem, as seem there is different 'version' to libass-0.97 useb by XBMC, and the libass-0.97 that come with Fedora.

Previously, it was just failover to compile the included libass in XBMC, as Fedora was have libass0.96.

I do not where I should start in providing more data, as in compiling there is an error that some method is not defined in the libass.h
Am I need to provide what's kind of error that shown? or I need to provide the libass.h that come from fedora repositories.

Anyway, to make the work around, just not install (de-install/remove) the package of libass-devel. As the XBMC configure will automatically fallback to use the included libass when you put --enable-external-libraries.
