[WINDOWS] Build error and how do I fix it?
#1
2>fatal error C1047: The object or library file '../../xbmc/lib/libsquish/lib/squish.lib' was created with an older compiler than other objects; rebuild old objects and libraries

How do I go about repairing this issue?

What happened to the 24hr grace period? This morning, all three platforms were broken.

Here's the deal. you know I make nightly builds, I have NO way of knowing if you already know about a problem I have when I compile from svn. So I post it. if it is a known issue then fine awesome great, if it was not known then even better. You really should not dissuade me from this and infact encourage it. I know you're busy people and I try not to hassle you guys too much but when there is a problem I post it.

Right, which is why we've asked (what must be a half dozen times now) for a 24hr grace period before reporting build errors. The other 3rd party builders have no problems with this policy. One even waited over the weekend to report since he knew activity is low then anyway. All I'm asking is that you honor this, a few missed nights here and there aren't going to hurt anyone.

Also, please keep in mind as we've posted this a few times as well...

If it won't compile from a clean source, especially on more than one platform, we already know. Really. There are often internal discussions of how to handle things best. So there's really no need to ever report a build failure unless it requires some special circumstances to hit.
