Hi,
what do you think about a file dummy, which makes it possible to add movies (maybe music... too) to your database without really existing as a playable file.
This is the idea:
I have a file which is called: "Full Metal Jacket.dummy"
So the movie is added to the database.
The content of the file should be some kind of XML, simulating tags and (more important) containing the information you want to display, when the file is selected.
For example:
File content:
<TextToShow>
This DVD is stored in shelf 1
</TextToShow>
So when you select the File, the Text "This DVD is stored in shelf 1" will be displayed instead of playing the file.
I think that would be an easy to implent and useful function.
Greetings from the cold Germany.
