i don't know if you can do this already, if not i take it wwont be added till after 1.1.0 but, how about using some of the id's assigned to python to launch a certain script.
im guessing it could be coded as an auto exec python script but would be best off coded in xbmc.
then when i press 1 on my remote it would call up say id 201 in keymap.xml and then start my script 01.py to start a playlist.
could have 10 albums set up then to just change with the remote and without going through the menus and being able to leave it on visualisation when in the car (like a 10 disc cd changer).
or another option would be to add 10 path/file shortcuts into xboxmediacenter.xml to allow people to just set up the shortcuts without writing scripts.
