If I install XBMC and Linux on the AsRock 330, will it detect external HDDs via USB automatically? If I have movies on 2 USB HDDs, can I get XBMC to pull all the movies into the Movie section?

Stupid question no doubt, still finding my XBMC feet, playing with a windows version to learn the basics but I can't get it to do everything yet, so Linux will be a whole new step.

Is it better to use a USB hub or plug in the HDDs directly to the AsRock?

Any difference?

USB drives will work. It doesn't matter where you plug them.
