i discussed this a little. someone suggested making an offical request. basically, i have a lot of mp3s and the tag scanner scans them all before commiting the transaction. i have 26,000+ files and would like it to commit every so often. maybe make the number configureable so i can commit transaction every 100, others can scan their whole collection.
