I just downloaded and installed the nightly build for Linux on my ubuntu system, as well as unrar. I tried to run XBMC and it stopped working. When I click it, nothing happens.

Try to open terminal, and call 'xbmc' manually and get the error message.

How did you install XBMC on Ubuntu?

It's significantly easier to install it using apt.

I installed the manual install from the wiki first, then I wanted to upgrade to the SVN. Meh... Nightly builds are broken on the nightly build site.
