I can't control ac3/dts volume in xbmc. Normal stereo volume control works fine. I understood this is a normal behavior when using ac3/dts passthru, but i don't use a receiver.
The HDMI cable goes directly into my plasma-tv.
AC3/DTS passthru receiver are turned off in xbmc.
Hardware: POV ion 330
To get this working, do i have to use "softvol" in my asoundrc (to do a virtual volume adjustment)?
