I want to set my main Windows resolution to 720p, so I can actually see the icons from the couch, but I want XBMC to be in 1080p...

Problem is, if I set the resolution in Windows to 720p, then my TV locks itself to 720p, so when I launch XBMC it can't detect that the TV is cable of 1080p..

Anyways to force XBMC always into a resolution?

I'm sure there's plenty of scripts available that will allow you to change res, launch XBMC and change it back again after it exits.
