I'm looking to get the 7.5 TB version. Really looking for a low noise and low power consumption solution, of course the aesthetic goes without saying. I've had a hard time finding a good review of it online, specially one that relates to how I would use it with XBMC.

well after hours of searching, i found about 4 reviews all of which point out how atrocious this NAS is, shame 'cuz it really scores points on looks

Bought one of these months ago.

Its been a nightmare!!!

The unit would periodicly loose its config, and all my data with it!

Returning it to Lacie for the 2nd time.

Their tech support consists of nothing but monkeys reading support telephone call scripts, although they are very polite and caring monkeys.

seems to be the consensus all around... thanks for the warning still looking for a solution with a small footprint... kindda leaning towards the HP mediasmart server though it seems like an odd choice for me since I only use macs.
