I cannot get any video file to play video. I can hear the sound, but no picture.

I also cannot seem to locate the log file for this new version of XBMC. Is it stored in a new location?

I was just having the same problem after installing the latest alpha version 9.11 and just putting the d3dx9_42.dll in the syswow folder.

What i had to do was install DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en

It worked for me on Windows 7 x64
