Look at the Homepage http://www.thetvdb.com I think they have problems with their Image-Server, or maybe the Image-Links! No Images are shown on the homepage!

I too have as per someones solution edited the thtvdb.xml file and replaced images.thetvdb.com with jus thetvdb.com this did get thumbnails but only if I manually go itno the show and then do a "TV Information" and "Refresh" and then "Thumb" I can then select a thum which I didnt get before editing the xml file.

This I know is down to a datacentre migration by thetvdb.com which is perfectly fine.

But I havent found anyone posting a proper resolution (if any??) so that XBMC goes back to getting the thumbs automatically?
For example Im using Atlantis 9.10 with mediaStream skin.
all my tv episodes exist as
[TVShowName]\[SeasonNumber]\[ShowName - S01E01 - EpisodeName.mkv]

however a recent file dropped into the folder did indeed get the TV show Synopsis (after going into XBMC (setup to scan on startup)) details but no thumbnails.

Can anyone help?

I think the first thing people should do is delete the .nfo and .tbn files within the folders - let the scrapers work off the file names, and recreate these files. The scrapers time out trying to reference the old tvdb paths I think.

Has anyone actually been able to use the other TV scrapers?

I would love to use TV.com, but the only thing it and IMDb scrape for me are show titles, and tvrage does notice the episodes but can't scrape names for them, and none of them can scrape plot or studio info! Do these work for anybody or is there somewhere I'm going wrong?

I'd be happy to use thetvdb but the ratings for episodes are really awful, sometimes only one or two people having rated an episode, or none at all, so it gives a completely unrealistic evaluation of the episode you're about to watch.

As you can see TV.com has a much more comprehensive review system, and 99 people have voted and submitted a review, while only 6 peoples opinions have been registered on thetvdb.

The ideal solution in my mind would be the same tvdb scraper except one which pulls rating info from TV.com, would love if this could be done. Sigh!

I realize these problems have been discussed a bit in the forums, but I haven't found a solution, and I can't imagine why TV.com, IMDbtv and TvRage scrapers would be included in xbmc if they're useless.
