IR/RF Remote Suggestions

Running XBMC 9.1a2 Karmic on a Revo -- looking for suggestions on a MCE RF/IR Remote that works out of the box.

I've been down the Bluetooth PS3 route and an having some issues with my wife outright hating the remote due to the # of buttons on it but am looking for suggestions and/or links.

I prefer if possible to use RF over IF but I dont know if LIRC supports RF out of the box or not (I don't want/have the time to deal with troubleshooting a piece of hardware that has issues with Linux).

Again I appreciate any suggestions and/or links -- I am in the US so likely I would be ordering from Newegg, Amazon, etc...

Shame nobody does a xbmc remote it'd sell like hot cakes.

My MCE remote does the job but the # of buttons annoys me and a lot of them have no use in XBMC.

The philips RC 197 works out of the box as a MCE remote.
It is the only one I could find still for sale.

On the other hand HID devices seem to work better in Karmic than before.

The cheapest remote from ebay like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/PC-USB-Media-Center-...335774f9cf works with XBMC without any adjustments. The remote itself is somewhat flimsy, I used it to program Logitech Harmony.
