From what I understand XBMC expects the TV directory to have the following format:

TV Shows
- Show Name
- Season
- Episodes

The way that I have XBMC currently set up works fine with that format. Currently I have a single directory that contains my TV Shows. Given the number of TV Shows that I have, can I add multiple directories with the same format and have them all show up as TV shows, or do they all have to be under 1 directory?

You can have as many as you like, just use context menu and "Set Content" on each of them to tv shows and which scraper you want to use for it.
