Hi there!

I have a problem with XBMC. I use the following format for all my TV shows: root folder\TV Show Name\Season X\TV Show Name S0XE0X\, for example E:\Serien\My Name is Earl\Season 4\My Name Is Earl S04E18. This worked flawlessly for several shows, but now I tried adding the mini-series "The Prisoner". It consists of only one season with 6 episodes. I normally use Media Info Plus for scraping, but this time, it wouldn't load .nfo files etc. for the episodes, so I tried Media Companion Gen2, and it did write those files.

I then fired up XBMC, the show was loaded into the database, but it didn't add the episodes. So when I click the show, it just shows an empty folder. I tried deleting and reloading it several times, I even deleted the files media companion generated and let XBMC add it, but same result. I have no idea what's wrong, every other show worked.

As you can see, it apparently tries to add the episode files, but has an error "ERROR: CVideoInfoScanner::OnProcessSeriesFolder: Asked to lookup episode E:\Serien\The Prisoner\Season 1\The Prisoner S01E01\the.prisoner.2009.part1.720p.hdtv.x264-ctu.mkv online, but we have no episode guide. Check your tvshow.nfo and make sure the <episodeguide> tag is in place."

So I compared the tvshow.nfo to that of another show and I couldn't find a mistake in there, but I'll add the .nfo, maybe one of you can tell me what's wrong there:

Do as the log hinted you. Simply replace all <episodeguideurl> with <episodeguide> and you're done.

Thank you for your answer! I tried that, but still the same problem.

But i found the solution, I just had to change the .part1. in the filename into S01E01 and so on, and it loads flawlessly. I always thought the folder name was used for adding the episodes, so I never looked much into file naming, especially as it worked with all the other shows without changing the name.
