I got a cheap MCE remote when I first set up my XBMC installation (Acer Aspire Revo, Karmic, Beta 1) and it works alright except every now and then it sends an "8" command to my TV when I press "Right". So I bought a slightly more expensive remote control, but I plugged in the IR receiver and the remote won't control anything. Is it possible the system is confused and unable to handle two IR configs? Is there a way to clear out the old configuration so the new one can be created?
