finally I upgraded my 9.04.1 installation to the new beta and I must say, it looks very good, but I have a few problems while playing mp4 files. I have made a small sample and uploaded it, so perhaps someone could say, if this is only on my machine or a problem with xbmc.

SAMPLE

Problem 1:
on 9.04 and 9.04.1 the video plays without framedrops, the new beta shows me a lot of them (if I press "o")

Problem 2:
on 9.04 and 9.04.1 I have at least stereo sound (can't wait for the masteraudio branch), with beta 1 there's no sound

Problem 3:
I integrated subtitles in the clip. From 0:07 to 0:10 you should see "THX Tex" as subtitle, but neither 9.04, 9.04.1 nor beta 1 shows me the text

If I play the clip on VLC or mplayer, there's no problem, I have a smooth audio and video playback and the subtitle is shown

xbmc.log is on pastebin, tests are made on GENTOO 2009.0 compiled with and without external libraries, machine is a x86_64 with kernel 2.6.30 and nvidia driver 185.18.36 and xbmc is SVN 24659
